He’s equal parts hardworking and chaotic-good, and he’s basically the reason our packaging looks like it could show up in your mailbox.
We make postcard-shaped chocolate bars that are fun, giftable, and actually delicious — the kind of thing you grab for a friend, bring to a party, or keep in your bag “for later” (and then eat in the car).
Postie is the next chapter of Alicja Confections — a chocolate company founded in Ottawa, Canada, that grew from small-batch beginnings into a brand stocked by shops across North America. The whole thing was built on a simple idea: chocolate should feel like a souvenir. Not just a snack. Something you’d want to send, keep, and show off for two seconds before you destroy it.
That idea became our signature: the Postcard Chocolate Bar™ — a chocolate bar designed with a postcard-sized footprint and a “sendable” vibe. Eventually, the product got big enough that it needed a bigger personality to match.
Postie isn’t a totally new company pretending the past didn’t happen — he’s the mascot and the face of what we’ve been doing all along, just with a clearer point of view. Same roots. Same craft. Same obsession with making something that feels special without taking itself too seriously.
Like the little panel says: our bars are made to send in the mail, just like a postcard. That’s the whole point.
